Robitussin Extra Strength Mucus & Phlegm expectorant syrup gets tough on mucus and phlegm, working in your chest where you need it most to help you feel better through the day and night.
Directions:
Adults (12 years & over): 2 tsp. (10 ml) .Children under 12 years: do not use. Take every 6 hours - Do not exceed maximum 4 doses/day.
Ingredients:
Active Ingredients: (In 1 teaspoon or 5 ml): Guaifenesin: 200 mg
Inactive Ingredients: Citric acid, corn syrup, FD&C Red No. 40, flavour, glycerin, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, sodium benzoate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium saccharin, sorbitol and water.
Caution:
Do not use with other cough and cold medication - if you have an allergy to any of the listed ingredients. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have/are - a persistent/chronic cough (as occurs with smoking) - difficulty breathing - other chronic lung disease (e.g. asthma or emphysema) - under a doctor's care - pregnant or breastfeeding. Stop use and ask a doctor if - symptoms worsen, last more than 7 days - a high fever (≫38c), rash, persistent headache is present - you cough up thick yellow or green mucus. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a poison control centre or doctor right away.
